How To Book a Tattoo
About me & my practice
I am a multi disciplinary artist with a background in Costume/fashion design.I became interested in tattooing in 2019 as a means to support my freelance practice with something that I was passionate about with more flexibility. However, the pandemic hit and like many, this affected my personal and professional path. So I began a tattoo practice in April of 2020 as a means to find an artistic expression during the quarantine. It was a healing and helpful tool for me personal during a very difficult time. I practiced on myself and close friends/chosen family until I felt comfortable offerings pieces to the general public. I am passionate about the spiritual, healing ,and affirming abilities that tattoos possess specifically considering the significance of tattooing in many Black Indigenous cultures specifically my own (Nigerian). I also see tattoos as a practice in adornment and ornamentation and am excited to see how time and research develop that more.
Please be mindful that it may take 24-48 hours to respond to a request.
Flash
All standard flash is only done once unless otherwise specified. Lowcost flash can be repeated up to 2 times.
Pre-drawn flash can be viewed under the flash sheets tab. I am also very interested in creating new iterations of my already existing visual art on the skin. So if you see a collage piece of mine that you would be interested in translating as a tattoo I would love to discuss.
You are not required to upload or know what flash you want before coming in, although I do recommend it! You are welcome to look at my flash book day of your appointment.
Customs
I am accepting custom bookings. If you have an idea for a tattoo please fill out the contact form and we will discuss your idea. Once we agree on a design , budget and time frame use the link below to book your custom piece. DO NOT BOOK the custom appointment type if we haven’t spoken about your idea. You will be prompted to this link. My rate for customs is $180/ hr. Based on your idea and size you’ll be given a quote/asked your budget when you submit your form.
Pricing
A $100 non refundable deposit is required to book an appointment with me. This deposit will go towards the overall cost of your session. Here is a breakdown of my pricing:
Color practice: $70 flat. These sessions are for me to practice color techniques that I am still getting comfortable with.
Lowcost flash: $100 flat, arms and legs only. This is paid in full by your deposit. These will be marked as low cost flash
Pre drawn flash:$250-$350 dependent on size, color, complexity and placement.
Customs: Customs start at $350 and are charged hourly at $125-$150/hr depending on size, color, complexity, and placement.
Tipping: Tipping is not required but appreciated. Industry standard is 15-30%. You can also tip with treats such as coffee,flowers,snacks, and ouid!
When you submit your flash to me I will let you know what the balance due at your session is so that there are no surprises. Please make sure you save and can complete payment at the time the service is complete.
Anti-Capitlist work: Sliding scale available for Black TGNC folks, no questions asked! If you white there is a white tax of $50.I collect this tax to create a payment system where sliding scale can be available to folks who have been marginalized from the tattoo industry. If you have a problem with this or see this is "discriminatory" please refrain from booking with me. If you don't understand this I challenge you to educate yourself on reparations/mutual aid/ allyship.
Additionally, I am not a machine. I am providing a sacred service. One with centuries of rich histories that not only require me to be intentional with my body, but with my mind and mental as well.
That being said I want to be transparent, I have a full time job and tattoo one day a week. I deal with chronic pain as well as adhd. Sometimes things will come up and I will need to reschedule. Your time is important and I intend to respect that.If we have to reschedule please have grace, patience, and the understanding that I only tattoo one day a week and will do my best to fit you in at the next available date.You will be provided with a free booking link so that you can reschedule with ease. If you are waiting on a response from me please do not hesitate to send a reminder if it has been longer than 5 business days.
Covid-19 Guidelines & Safety precautions
I have been fully vaccinated since April 8th, 2021 and get tested regularly.
Before the session:
Given that the COVID-19 pandemic is not over as cases of vaccinated and non vaccinated people contracting various variants of COVID-19 continue to happen. Please complete a rapid test the morning of your scheduled appointment and bring the results with you!If you need to reschedule due to a positive covid test your deposit will be honored for a reschedule. I have extra BINAX rapid antigen tests available on site if you need one you can request one via email!
During the session:
If possible please wear a n95 or kn95 mask! If you don’t have one I can provide one for you.
If you wish to bring a guest to your session they must also follow the studio COVID safety guidelines.Upon arriving you will be directed to wash your hands and complete a covid -19 symptom screening & tracking.

Late policy, Cancellations & Rescheduling
If you are running late to your session please let me know. If you are running more than 30 minutes late unfortunately you will have to forfeit your session. If you are more than 10 minutes late with no communication that is a no show.
If something comes up and you can not make it for your appointment please do your best to notify me no less than 72 hours in advance and we can reschedule to another time I have available at no extra cost. Cancellations made with less than 72 hours will require another deposit to reschedule. If for any reason I must reschedule with you due to my own schedule with less than 72 hours notice you will be given a tattoo credit for the inconvenience to use for a future session or to gift to someone.
